Who is Michael Meyers...
I am a strategic and collaborative public relations/communications/public affairs leader who excels at navigating large, complex organizations to enhance their reputation. I’m known as a calm and decisive leader in a crisis; that can COMMUNICATE AND DELIVER. I also manage everyday efforts to identify and address risk by tapping deep relationships, negotiating solutions, and developing institutional responses. I am goal and results oriented, and can provide mentorship to teams to combine public relations, internal and external stakeholder communications, and marketing for the most effective outcomes. I also have considerable experience in change management/transitional management all levels.
As a former information officer and through nearly 20 years of political affairs and communications experience on behalf of public, government, non-profit, and corporate organizations, I am foremost a servant leader who uses storytelling to connect audiences to an organization’s missions in ways that inspire pride, engagement, and advocacy.
I’m told that understanding people; communication; producing results; managing events and maintaining positive relationships are among my strengths. Any team I lead will become known for their trustworthiness, strong communication, strategic approach, excellence, and mutual respect and support for each other. Ultimately, I measure my success through the successes of my team and the organizations I am chosen to lead.
